Thank you to Luke from ABP Clones who planted some birch and alder trees at our school as part of ABP’s sustainability plan. 
It will be a very long time before they are as big as our sycamore tree but we’ll enjoy watching them grow!

Polar Lands

This month’s Aistear theme was ‘Polar Lands’ and the junior room has been learning all about the Arctic. We studied the Canadian artist Ted Harrison who’s work is inspired by polar landscapes. We painted paintings in Ted Harrison’s style using simple colours and shapes.
