This house was taken, stone by stone, from Co Monaghan and rebuilt in the park. A son from this house emigrated to America and eventually became the Catholic Archbishop of New York!

We pulled the bellows and the blacksmith worked with the iron, hammering it on the anvil. He made a poker for the fire and gave it to us to bring back to school!

After making our catapults, we tested them to see how far they could launch a little ball.
