Children in the Junior and Senior Infants went on their first school trip to Speedwell in Parkanaur Forest Park. We went on a bear hunt and had so much fun!

Here we are weeding and tidying up our vegetable boxes. Look at all the lovely potatoes we grew. We took them home and cooked them for our dinner. They tasted so good!

Our new incoming Junior Infants joined us for their induction morning at the end of June. We had great fun and we are all very much looking forward to welcoming them to The Billis NS in September 2023!

We visited Busy Bee Ceramics and did some litter-picking.

We had a non-uniform day!

The juniors spent some time in the garden this week looking after our potatoes, weeding, hilling and watering. We had some shoots this week! 

In the senior classroom, we planted kale, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower.

Our leeks are growing big and strong!
