Bishop Ian’s Prize Winners!

Bishop Ian visited our school today to tell us who he had chosen as his winner of his Christmas Card competition. He had prizes for 3rd, 2nd and 1st place. Adam Berry McKenna’s card came in 3rd place. Keziah Condell came in 2nd place and his winner in 1st place was Amy Clerkin. Amy’s angel-themed card will now be reproduced 300 times and it will be delivered to everyone on the Bishop’s Christmas Card list. It will even be sent as far as California, USA. A huge well done to Amy! We are very proud of all of our prizewinners and everyone in the Senior Classroom for the fantastic efforts they made. Well done!

Science week in the Junior Room!

To celebrate Science Week this week, the children in the Junior classroom had an exciting time learning about light. They discovered a new word, “opaque,” and enjoyed creating their own shadow puppet shows with Miss Gilmour and Yvonne!

Medal Winners at The Billis!

We are very proud of our pupils who took part in the Cross Country Championship in Carrickmacross on Sunday representing Glaslough Harriers and taking home both individual medals and club medals as their athletics club Glaslough Harriers won the overall county championship.

Congratulations also to our Ulster Cross County medal winner and we wish him very good luck as he goes to the All Irelands on 1st December!

Tradoodle Festival

We had a visit from Caitlín & Ciarán as part of the Tradoodle Featival 2024. This event was organized by Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan.

We had a brilliant time listening to different styles of music, song, and dance and we even learned some new moves! It was great to see all of the children enjoy the Irish culture. 🎶
