The weather was on our side last week as we enjoyed beautiful sunshine for Sports Week. We enjoyed a variety of activities ranging from traditional sports day races to our favorite games, circuits with Alana and so much more. Here is a snippet of what we got up to!

Congratulations to Amy Clerkin in Rang 5 who was chosen as the winner from our school for OHK Energy’s art competition! Amy’s piece will now go forward to the regional finals 😀
A great day was had by all at Tanagh Outdoor Adventure Centre! The sun shine and blue skies made for fantastic day out!

The children worked so hard on their school play entitled ‘You are Special!’ We loved having parents, siblings, grandparents and Board of Management members in to watch our performance. Well done to every single child, you are all very talented and truly special!
We were delighted to take part in ‘Lots of Socks Day’ for the first time this year. We loved wearing our odd and fancy socks and we also enjoyed a whole school art activity where we decorated lots of socks using lots of different fabric samples. Our fundraiser raised €186 which was sent to Down Syndrome Centre North East. Many thanks to families and staff members for your contributions to this very worthy, local cause!
We were so proud of our boys and girls who played their hearts out at the FAI 5-a-side football tournament on Monday. Well done to all!
